The easiest aproach to Island Mljet if you are arriving with your private vehicle is by ferry:

• Daily car ferry Prapratno (Peninsula Pelješac) - Sobra.
  Ride duration cca 40min.
• Car ferry from Rijeka (Zadar, Split, Hvar...) - Sobra - Dubrovnik
  Ride duration cca 2:45h

• Daily catamaran line (Catamaran Nona Ana): Dubrovnik - Sobra - Polače. Distance from Polače to Pomena is just 4km!
